The Scientific Manager of our project Professor Māris Kļaviņš from 24 till 28 June participated in the 4th European Conference on Renewable Energy Sources in Istanbul. The conference is a series of conferences dedicated to development of renewable material technologies and attracted 748 participants from 46 countries. Oral presentation on results of project were presented on a session dedicated to gasification technologies and during conference the problems related to elaboration of gasification technology has been discussed with scientists from Norway, Indonesia, USA, Japan. The presentation of M. Kļaviņš was actively discussed during the session. A significant result of the conference was possibility to meet colleagues from Istanbul University, Gazi University and Marmara University and discuss cooperation possibilities, considering the already significant achievements in development of municipal solid waste processing technologies.
